Fikr Ventures, in partnership with global AI-powered app development platform Replit, concluded the Amman AI Hackathon 2026, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, with the participation of 183 young founders, engineers, students, and recent graduates.
Held on October 10–11 at King Hussein Business Park, the hackathon saw participants build over 50 functional prototypes using AI tools, competing across two tracks: EdTech and the Future of Work.
During the closing ceremony, Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Samira Al-Zoubi, honored the four winning teams. Prizes included Replit credits, incubation opportunities, practical training, mentorship sessions, and tablets provided by Orange Jordan.
The hackathon aims to empower young people to turn their ideas into viable digital products, promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and encourage the use of artificial intelligence to develop practical solutions.
