Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Participates as a Strategic Partner in an Entrepreneurship Networking Event in Aqaba

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship confirmed its participation as a strategic partner in the entrepreneurship networking event organized by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) / Aqaba Entrepreneurship Network, in cooperation with TTi Foundation and with the support of the Aqaba Governorate Council, in the city of Aqaba. The event aimed to enhance connectivity and build partnerships among startups, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

During the event, the role of the National Entrepreneurship Policy was highlighted, along with a presentation on the data and outcomes of the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project, showcasing its tangible impact in supporting startups and promoting sustainable employment opportunities.

Representatives of the Ministry emphasized that the project reflects the government’s commitment to fostering an innovation-driven entrepreneurial environment and empowering startups and small enterprises to grow and scale, thereby contributing to economic development and the creation of sustainable job opportunities. They added that this collaboration aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision, which aims to position entrepreneurship as a key driver of comprehensive economic transformation, increased competitiveness, and investment attraction.

The event witnessed wide participation, with around 80 startups and entrepreneurs from the local community, in addition to representatives of supporting entities and experts. This engagement helped open new horizons for networking, knowledge exchange, and the formation of effective partnerships that support the development of entrepreneurial projects in the governorate.

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship’s participation in this event comes as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and support initiatives and programs that empower entrepreneurs and stimulate innovation, in line with national directions to enhance the digital economy and achieve sustainable development.
