Prime Ministry
Executive authority is vested in the King, and he assumes it through his ministers in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. The Council of Ministers is composed of the Prime Minister as president, and a number of ministers according to need and public interest.
The Council of Ministers is responsible for managing all state affairs, and the Council of Ministers is jointly responsible before the House of Representatives for policy.
In general, the Prime Minister undertakes many tasks, the most prominent of which are: enforcing laws, implementing policies, actively following up on the decisions of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, and monitoring and following up on government performance.
Strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation with all state institutions, citizens and the media, follow-up and coordination, and overcoming obstacles regarding major and strategic projects, and cooperation and knowledge and implementation sharing, to ensure the achievement of the vision, mission and goals of the Jordanian state with high efficiency.
