Renewal of Permanent Passport

Estimated Time:

• Two hours after the payment of fees.
• 14 days for residents outside the country.

Location:

• Offices of Civil Status and Passports Department in the governorates and districts .
• Jordanian embassies and consulatesabroad .

Estimated Fee:

• 50 JD for the following cases:
- A passport that has expired or the remaining period of validity is less than 180 days
- A passport for members of the Jordanian Armed Forces, security services and civil defense participating in peacekeeping forces
- Passport for individuals armed forces and security services and civil defense in case of changing the social situation and change the military status to the civil and vice versa.
• 100 JD for the following cases:
- Residents outside the country.
- Passport valid for more than six months.
• 25 JD for those under the age of sixteen
• 20 JD passport full of pages

Conditions for obtaining service

The presence of the personal relationship or a family member If the Applicant have another nationality he must show Passport for that nationality in order to store the name contained in the other nationality. Bring guardianship argument in the case of the father deceased for the underage Applicant.

Procedures

• Visit audience service desk and show the required documents for Auditing and Adopting and filling an application to obtain a new passport and get the turn number.
• Visit Admissions Officer to to match the information submitted with the application and acceptance it in system by Duly and correspondent the security authorities to express an opinion to those who need it.
• Visit the Office head or his assistant to Approval of the transaction
• Visit Treasurer to Pay legal fees.
• Convert the Application to issuance section to issuance the document.
• Convert the Application to the archive section to archive the Application.
• The transaction will send to the printing section to print the document.
• Delivery of the passport to the recipient of the service after the financial voucher handover to delivery employee.

Required Documents

• Application form of disclose address
• Two of personal photos.
• The passport required be renewed
• Yellow bridges cards and Palestinian/Israeli card for those who hold it or explanation of follow-up and inspection Whom required from it.
• Personal card of applicant
• Formal letter of the General Command for the Military person.
• Flag Service book has been postponed or termination certificate for males from birth required to serve Flag .
