Conditions for obtaining service

The artistic and cultural festivals instructions for the year 2006 and its amendments issued under paragraph (n) Article (4) of Culture Welfare Law No. (36) for the year 2006 and its amendments available on the Ministry's website http://www.culture.gov.jo.

Procedures

1.The applicant shall submit an official letter including the required documents ,(in the event of filing the application in governorates, it will be transferred to the Ministry).
2.The letter shall take incoming number in the register, and then transferred to the Directorate of Cultural Bodies.
3.The Director shall study the application and assigns to the Head of Cultural Festivals Department to address the concerned governorate for approval or rejection.
4.The letter shall be signed by the Director and sent to the register be given outgoing number.
5.The applicant receives a copy of the letter addressed to the governorate for follow up.

Required Documents

1.An official letter from the applicant attached with:
2.bank account Statement in the name of the applicant.
3.The festival's internal instructions including how to be directed and financially managed, the type of activities it shall provide, and sources of funding.
4.The program of the festival, its dates and venues.
5.The name of the festival’s director and the members of its administrative board.
6.Valid service licensing documents.
7.A written pledge to assume financial, administrative and legal responsibility for holding of the festival.
